Does the library have a subscription to UptoDate?

The University Libraries do not subscribe to UpToDate  However there are resources that can replace UpToDate.

UpToDate is known for background overviews of clinical conditions and clinical guidelines.

For background information library staff recommends the following: AccessMedicine from McGraw-Hill includes textbooks like Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine, Basic & Clinical Pharmacology, Current Medical Diagnosis and Treatment and Ganong’s Review of Medical Physiology and Clinical Key from Elsevier which uses its collection of over 1000 books to create Disease Overviews

For clinical guidelines and care library staff recommends using DynaMedPlus, which includes drug information from Micromedex.  You should also try VisualDX , which is a visual clinical decision tool.
