The RowanSOM Health Sciences Library provides access to thousands of online resources, such as databases, eJournals, and ebooks.  In most cases these are licensed resources and can only be accessed off-campus by current Rowan University students, faculty and staff, this includes RowanSOM residents and volunteer faculty.

Users will 1st be prompted to select their affiliation, either Rowan or Cooper.  After selecting Rowan as your affiliation you will be prompted to use a Rowan Network Account (RUID) username and password to access licensed online resources from off-campus, download EndNote, and to gain access to Rowan SOM e-Reserve readings.

For Rowan SOM faculty, staff, students and residents this is the same account username and password used to access most Rowan University computing and network resources like Rowan email.  Your Rowan Network Account will be assigned to you for the duration of your enrollment or employment with the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine.

Rowan SOM volunteer faculty can also obtain a Rowan network username and password that will allow them access to licensed online resources.

Rowan SOM faculty, staff, students, residents, and volunteer faculty can obtain their Rowan username and password by going to:

https://id.rowan.edu/

If you are obtaining your username and password click the link underneath the "Username:" field that says "I don't know my username" and follow the instructions.  RowanSOM volunteer faculty contact the RowanSOM Library at (856) 566 6800 if you encounter any difficulty obtaining your username and password.  Volunteer faculty should NOT contact the Rowan support desk for assistance.

Sorry, alumni are not eligible for off-campus access to the online Library resources.  Please see the Library’s alumni web page for Library services offered to alumni.
