When in PubMed, click on My NCBI and login. Once logged in, click my NCBI Site preferences. Locate the PubMed Preferences. Then, click "Result Display Settings." On the "Results Display Settings for PubMed" page, locate the default format and click Abstracts. Press the Save button to have the abstracts appear in your PubMed search results.
