Rowan University Libraries do not subscribe to UpToDate.  However there are resources that can replace UpToDate. 

UpToDate is known for background overviews of clinical conditions and clinical guidelines.    

For clinical care and guidelines library staff recommends using DynaMed, which includes drug information from Micromedix.  Lexicomp is also a good resource for drug information. A recommended differential diagnosis tool to try is VisualDx.

For background information library staff recommends the following: AccessMedicine from McGraw-Hill includes textbooks like Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine, Basic & Clinical Pharmacology, Current Medical Diagnosis and Treatment and Ganong’s Review of Medical Physiology and Clinical Key from Elsevier which uses its collection of over 1000 books to create Disease Overviews
