Two-factor authentication is being rolled out across all of Rowan University to add an extra layer of security to Rowan network accounts. The initial stage only involves faculty and staff, but students will also have to use two-factor authentication eventually.
Two-factor authentication involves downloading, installing, and configuring the Duo app on your phone, and registering your device. If you don’t want to use a mobile device you can register one or more landlines. It is recommended you register at least one landline as a back-up in case your mobile device is lost or broken.
Detailed instructions and more information about Duo and two-factor authentication can be found at https://go.rowan.edu/duo
Once enrolled in Duo you will need to use two-factor authentication to access Library resources from off-campus.
Please do not contact the library with questions about Duo or two-factor authentication. Contact the Technology Support Center at 856-256-4400 or firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
