Can students and faculty based on the Stratford or Sewell campuses utilize the other Rowan Libraries?
While Rowan-Virtua SOM students can utilize facilities on the Glassboro campus, including the library, the Campbell Library is undergoing a major renovation over the next year. While open for a limited number of hours during the week the Campbell Library is not conducive to quiet study at this time, and its group study rooms are scheduled to be closed in early Fall, 2024. See the Campbell Library Renovation site for more information and a list of alternate study locations on the Glassboro campus.
Per a reciprocal agreement with CMSRU, Rowan-Virtua SOM students may use the Learning Commons in the Cooper Medical Education Building until 5pm on weekdays. They may stay later if they are in the building prior to 5pm. There is no access on the weekends.
The local Library's circulation policies will apply to any items checked-out from any Rowan Libraries' collection. Rowan ID is required to borrow items from any Rowan Libraries' collection.
Be aware Rowan IDs are needed to gain access to many Rowan buildings, including the libraries, on evenings and weekends through a card swipe or tap. Rowan IDs from one campus may not allow access to buildings on another campus. Contact the Rowan Police Department with questions about accessing specific Rowan buildings, particularly during evenings and weekends.
