How do I find out what journals are "peer reviewed"?

How do I find out what journals are "peer reviewed"?

This question has no easy answer. Instructions for authors often provide the best avenue for answering this question; information on peer review is often included within the instructions for authors. The journal’s website is also a good source for this information.

Beware of deceptive or predatory journals and publishers that claim they follow peer review, but provide vague or limited information on their peer review policy.  Check the Getting Published LIbGuide to learn more and how the library can help with the publication process.

For help navigating the publishing process contact the library and speak with a librarian.
