Rowan-Virtua SOM faculty and residents can request a medical librarian perform literature searches on any medical or healthcare related topic.  Librarians will advise and assist medical students with performing literature searches, and strongly encourages students to contact the library for assistance with scholarship and research, but librarians will not do literature searches for students.   

Librarians can also provide individual or group training for Rowan-Virtua SOM and GSBS students, faculty, and residents on how to use and effectively search any library resource or database.  Contact the library for assistance or more information. 

Note that while Rowan-Virtua SOM Librarians can perform complex and in-depth literature searches for faculty and residents the library does not currently have the necessary level of staffing and expertise needed to perform literature searches to the level needed for a systematic review.
